Mobile App Design That People Actually Enjoy Using
We build interfaces that feel natural. The kind where users don't need a manual or three attempts to figure out where things are.
Based in Giza, we've spent years watching how people interact with their phones – the taps that don't register, the menus that hide everything, the buttons that seem to move just when you need them. We design around those frustrations.
Start a ConversationDesign That Responds to Real User Behavior
- We prototype with actual device constraints in mind – not just what looks good on a desktop monitor. Screen sizes matter. So do thumb zones and one-handed usage patterns.
- Navigation structures get tested with people who haven't seen the app before. If they get lost, we rebuild it. Simple as that.
- Visual hierarchy guides users without them realizing it. The important stuff stands out, but nothing screams for attention unnecessarily.
- Every animation and transition serves a purpose. We're not adding motion just because we can – it's there to provide feedback and show relationships between elements.
- Color choices consider both aesthetics and accessibility. Contrast ratios get checked. Color blindness scenarios get reviewed. Nobody gets left behind.
Built for Egyptian Users
We understand local usage patterns and network conditions that impact design decisions.
How We Actually Work Through Projects
No mysterious black boxes or vanishing acts between meetings. Here's what collaboration with us looks like from start to finish.
Discovery and Honest Assessment
We start by understanding who'll be using this app and what they're trying to accomplish. Sometimes clients come in wanting feature X, but after talking through actual user needs, we end up building something entirely different – and better. That's normal. We ask uncomfortable questions about target audience assumptions and challenge ideas that might not hold up in real-world usage.
Wireframes and Information Architecture
Before anything looks pretty, we map out how information flows. Where does a user land first? What's their most common path? What do they need quick access to? This phase involves lots of sketching and rearranging. We build clickable prototypes with zero visual design – just boxes and labels. If the structure doesn't work here, fancy colors won't save it later.
Visual Design and Brand Integration
Now we make it look like something you'd want to use. This is where brand colors, typography, and visual style come in. We create design systems that keep everything consistent across screens. You'll see multiple design directions initially – we need your feedback to dial in the right tone. Formal? Playful? Somewhere in between? This phase sets the visual language for the entire app.
Iteration Based on Testing Feedback
We put prototypes in front of real people and watch what happens. Where do they pause? What do they tap that isn't tappable? What do they completely miss? Then we go back and fix those issues. This cycle repeats until the interface feels intuitive. Sometimes a button moves. Sometimes an entire screen gets restructured. Whatever it takes to remove friction from the user experience.
Developer Handoff and Support
We prepare detailed specifications for your development team – measurements, behaviors, states, error conditions. And we stick around during implementation to answer questions and review builds. Developers always find edge cases we didn't consider. That's fine. We adjust designs to work with technical realities while maintaining the user experience we fought for.
What Clients Say After Launch
"The design process felt different from other agencies we'd worked with. They pushed back on some of our initial ideas, which was uncomfortable at first. But they were right. The final app tested significantly better with users than what we originally envisioned."
"They understood our users better than we did. We thought we needed a dashboard with everything visible. They showed us why progressive disclosure would work better for our use case. Support requests dropped by 40% after the redesign."
